Designville: Merge & Design
Merge useful items and give rooms a fresh start.

Piece of Cake: Merge and Bake follows Emily as she restores a family cafe. Its merge board supplies items for customer orders, linking small item combinations to renovation tasks and new story chapters.
Click the toast producer to generate starting items, then drag matching items together to create the next item in the chain. Supply the items requested by customers to earn money for cafe repairs.
Check an order before merging its ingredients into a higher item. Keep a few empty board spaces so a producer can supply the pieces needed for the next requested combination.
Piece of Cake connects a merge board to Emily’s cafe renovation. The useful question before each merge is which item a customer currently needs. Find that requested item, identify the matching pieces needed to make it, then generate only enough starting material to advance that chain. This gives each move a clear purpose.
A higher item is not automatically a better item for your current order. If the request needs an item you already have, avoid combining it into the next tier just because another copy is beside it. Check the request again after completing an order; the board can contain valid ingredients for a different customer even when they do not help your first choice.
The provider’s opening example starts with the toast pan: two pieces of toast merge into toast with an egg, and later combinations continue through food items. Treat that example as the first chain to learn rather than a complete recipe list. Follow the item pictures and the current tutorial when another producer or chain appears.
Before clicking the producer repeatedly, count the open spaces and look for a pair you can combine immediately. A crowded board makes it harder to see which food belongs to an order and which is spare. Keep related items together where possible, then alternate generating and merging instead of filling every available tile in one burst.
Customer orders earn the money used to restore the cafe and other locations. Separate the board problem from the renovation choice: first make the requested objects, then use the resulting reward on the available task. If the story has stopped moving, check whether a renovation task is ready before producing more ingredients without a target.
The provider also describes daily missions, special orders and boosters. Read their current conditions before committing resources; availability and reward values can change. Reserve a booster for a clearly identified bottleneck, such as the missing step in an active order, and judge the result by whether it finishes useful work rather than by how many animations it triggers.
The following controls are listed by Game provider. Check the in-game instructions for remapping and additional actions.
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Left mouse button | Select producers and interact with menus |
| Drag matching objects | Merge them into an upgraded item |
The Play now button opens the configured Game provider player on this page. Availability and compatibility depend on the provider; not every title has been tested through a full game session.
A customer may request the current item rather than its upgraded form. Check active orders first so you do not merge away something you were ready to deliver.
It generates the opening food items. The provider’s example combines two pieces of toast into toast with an egg, then continues into higher food combinations.
You fulfill customer orders with items from the board, earn money and spend it on restoration tasks. Renovating the cafe and other locations reveals further story content.
