Smash Karts is a multiplayer kart arena game built around weapons and short battles. Drive through item boxes, use the equipment you collect and keep moving while rivals try to destroy your kart.
Use WASD or the arrow keys to drive and Space to fire. Collect a question-mark box for a random weapon or power-up, then use it when an opponent is in a useful position.
Learn the arena route before chasing a rival. Keep room to turn after collecting a weapon; firing while pointed at a wall wastes an opportunity and leaves you exposed.
Smash Karts uses driving for arena combat rather than a race to a finish line. The provider describes short public battles, weapon pickups and XP progression. Start by finding a route between question-mark boxes that leaves room to turn. Knowing where your next pickup is gives you an option after firing instead of leaving you circling an empty corner.
A rival can pull you into a bad position if you follow without watching the arena. Before giving chase, check whether you have a usable weapon and a way out of the next turn. Staying mobile along a familiar route can create a cleaner attack than following one opponent into a wall or a crowded area with no equipment ready.
Question-mark boxes grant random weapons and power-ups, so inspect the current item before using Space. The provider distinguishes forward attacks such as rockets from static traps such as mines and contact-based power-ups. A clear line ahead suits a forward shot; a predictable traffic route is more relevant when placing a trap.
For mines, think about where opponents will drive next rather than where they are now. The provider suggests corners and item boxes as useful locations. For a contact-based item, consider whether you can actually reach another kart while maintaining control. Repeating the same attack after every pickup wastes the differences between the equipment you receive.
Public matches award XP, and leveling provides rewards that include coins and character tokens. The provider describes a prize machine for unlocking characters and a customization menu for appearance. Those systems give you longer-term goals, but a new look should not substitute for learning the routes and weapon timing that determine your next engagement.
After a match, choose one practical adjustment: collect a pickup before attacking, avoid a corner where you repeatedly get trapped, or wait for an open line before firing. Keep the adjustment small enough to recognize in the next battle. Maps and seasonal content can change, so relearn the pickup route whenever the arena layout is unfamiliar.
The following controls are listed by Game provider. Check the in-game instructions for remapping and additional actions.

No. The provider describes forward-firing attacks, mines that remain as traps and contact-based power-ups. Identify the pickup, then choose a position that fits how it works.
The provider suggests corners and positions behind item boxes. Think about the route another kart is likely to take rather than deploying a mine simply because an opponent is currently visible.
Public-match XP advances your level. Level rewards can include character tokens, which the provider says are used in the prize machine to unlock characters.
